Avion Express provides top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing (ACMI) solutions and also offers its clients aircraft on a charter basis. ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Data Scientist, you will analyze vast amounts of data generated across airline operations, maintenance and air traffic systems. You will design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, safety, and profitability in aviation.

ARE YOU READY TO?

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets;
• Develop and implement advanced statistical models to analyze complex datasets;
• Develop predictive models to optimize flight routes, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules;
• Utilize machine learning algorithms to identify patterns and predict trends in air traffic and operations;
• Communicate findings through impactful visualizations, reports, and presentations;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve analytical problems;
• Deploy machine learning models to production environments for scalable and real-time applications.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role;
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Strong foundation in data modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning algorithms;
• Experience manipulating high-volume data in complex, data-rich environments;
• Proficiency in Python and SQL;
• Previous experience in a similar industry or domain would be considered as an advantage;
• Familiarity with model deployment would be considered as an advantage;
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level) and Lithuanian languages, both spoken and written.
