About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in QlikSense and Power BI (including Power BI Fabric) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new reports, enhancing and modifying existing reports, and supporting ad-hoc ETL development in Python. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions and insights.

Key Responsibilities

QlikSense Development:

-Design, build, and optimize QlikSense reports and dashboards.
-Modify and enhance existing QlikSense reports to meet evolving business needs.

Power BI & Power BI Fabric:

-Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
-Configure and manage pipelines in Power BI Fabric for data processing and automation.
-Automate data processing pipelines for scalability and efficiency.
-Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.

ETL & Database Engineering:

-Develop Python-based ETL workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
-Perform ad-hoc data preparation and transformation tasks.

Database Expertise:

-Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
-Work with multiple RDBMS systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.
-Ensure database performance, tuning, and data quality.

Qualifications & Skills

-Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
-Hands-on expertise in QlikSense report development.
-Strong proficiency in Power BI and Power BI Fabric.
-Practical experience with Python programming for ETL pipelines.
-Strong foundation in SQL and hands-on work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.
-Experience in data modeling, transformation, and performance optimization.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

-Exposure to Azure / cloud-based BI platforms.
-Experience with CI/CD for BI solutions.
-Familiarity with data warehouse/Lakehouse architectures.

Salary comment: The salary starts from 3500 EUR/gross and the final offer will be based on your skills as well as experience.
