Aircraft Maintenance Engineer- Avionics. Mississauga, Canada

We are looking for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, AME-E to join our team in YYZ.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Perform day-to-day on-aircraft Avionics troubleshooting and repair tasks
  • Perform maintenance checks on Avionics systems including but not limited to communications, navigation, autopilot, Pitot-static, radar, AC & DC power distribution and aircraft lighting
  • Carry out various installations on aircraft
  • Operate Avionics test equipment including air data test set, navigation and communications, ATC ramp testers, and other electronic test equipment
  • Perform all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness
  • Ensure all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate before submitting to supervisor
  • Troubleshoot faulty systems to determine a course of rectification

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Hold a valid Transport Canada AME-E aircraft maintenance engineer license.
  • Minimum 2 year of licensed AME experience and line maintenance experience is an asset. - Holding the following endorsements: B737-NG/MAX, A320 CL/NEO any additional is a plus!
  • Be familiar with the appropriate parts of the MPM, MCM, aircraft operations specifications and maintenance manuals necessary for the performance of his/her duties;
  • Applicant must be able to work independently and/or in a team environment and have good organizational skills, pro-active, result-oriented and strive for continued improvement
  • Must have Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) including an airside driver’s permit (AVOP) for YYZ
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to company needs
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
