Junior Accountant. Vilnius, Lithuania

This is a great opportunity to become a part of our Finance Team in Vilnius. You will play an important role in analyzing financial data and helping to identify company’s financial and investment strategies. We promise a highly challenging field and wide scope of responsibilities, which will initially cover:

• Prepare and process payments, ensure that payments were done on time.
• Post and process daily bank transactions to the accounting system for the companies in Lithuania, Spain and France.
• Perform an accounting of business trip expenses and ensure timely payments of daily allowances.
• Reconcile accounts payable accounts related to paid proformas, ensure that accounting department received all necessary documentation.
• Perform the control’s function of balances of accountable persons, including the communication with departments.
• Perform scheduled by direct manager activities related to the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with and act with audit requests.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by direct manager.

We dream about a team member who:

• Has holds a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Has hands on experience with any accounting software (Navision is an advantage).
• Has excellent skills in a Microsoft Office 365 environment (especially in MS Excel).
• Experience with general ledger functions (advantage).
• Uses the English language at an effectively operational and independent level.
• Has positive attitude, accuracy and strong attention to details.
• Can work independently, possess self-motivation and willing to take ownership.
• Curiosity – inquisitive thinking such as exploration, investigation and learning.
