EASA B1.2 LICENSED ENGINEER. Lleida, Spain

Our people are united by passion for aviation and a desire to ensure efficient training solutions for both pilots and airlines. ​Avia Repair Co, the dedicated MRO subsidiary of BAA Training, is expanding its technical team and is seeking an experienced EASA Part‑66 B1.2 Licensed Engineer. As part of a growing aviation training and maintenance group, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued airworthiness, reliability, and safety of our fleet. This position offers the opportunity to work within a professional, well‑structured maintenance environment with strong support from both our in‑house technical specialists and the wider BAA Training organization.

We promise a highly challenging field and wide scope of responsibilities, which will initially cover:

  • ​​Ensuring maintenance tasks and certification of aircraft during maintenance scheduled and unscheduled inputs are carried out to the highest possible standards of safety, quality and serviceability
  • Ensuring appropriate application of certification privileges in accordance with the limitations of Company Authorizations
  • Performing daily maintenance and repair jobs for the aircraft in cooperation with our technical team
  • Carrying out non-recurring and sustaining development, validation and delivery of technical Aircraft Maintenance data
  • Cooperating with the maintenance contractors, aircraft and their equipment manufacturing plants, suppliers
  • ​Ensuring all off-aircraft tasks i.e. spares handling, etc. are handled strictly IAW Company procedures and all the relevant paperwork is actioned in a way that provides full transparency to all involved​
  • Working according to approved company processes
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities assigned by direct manager

We dream about a team member who:

  • Has EASA Part 66 B1.2 License (preferably with full group 3 or with type ratings in Cessna 172)
  • Has valid Human Factors training compliant with PartCAO, PartML, and PartM
  • Has more than ​three​ years of experience in ​aviation​
  • Is able to work independently and is self-motivated and willing to take ownership
  • Knows how to manage several complex projects at once
  • Has analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Has willingness to share skills, knowledge and expertise
  • Is flexible with good time management skills
  • Has respectful and positive attitude
  • Uses the English language at an effectively operational and independent level
  • Has knowledge of Spanish language (advantage)
  • Has work permit in the EU
