Avion Express is a narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) and charter operator. Avion Express provides top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing (ACMI) solutions and also offers its clients aircraft on a charter basis. The company operates an Airbus A320 family aircraft fleet.

ARE YOU READY TO?

• Lead and oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
  
• Ensure robust internal controls and risk management processes across all finance operations.
  
• Coordinate statutory audits, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely resolution of audit queries.
  
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  
• Supervise and guide financial control team members, fostering their professional development.
  
• Partner with business leaders to ensure financial reporting aligns with business objectives and provides transparency.
  
• Monitor compliance with tax, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
  
• Drive automation and continuous improvements in reporting, controls, and systems.
  
• Collaborate closely with Business Control and Treasury to ensure accurate financial data for planning, forecasting, and liquidity management.
  
• Take leadership in finance-related projects, including system upgrades, reporting enhancements, and process standardization.
  
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations on financial control matters to senior management.
  
  

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• 5+ years of experience in financial control, audit, or accounting leadership roles in an international or complex environment.
  
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ACA) preferred.
  
• Strong expertise in IFRS, local GAAP, tax compliance, and audit processes.
  
• Demonstrated experience in managing multi-entity or multi-country financial reporting.
  
• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Business Central, Oracle) and strong Excel skills.
  
• Proven track record in improving financial processes and controls.
  
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
  
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
