Head of Enterprise Applications. Vilnius, Lithuania / Remote

We offer work in the Digital Technologies (IT) department, acting as an central unit for managing strategic, innovation and IT projects and programs. Our department provides services to subsidiary companies related to IT Governance & Management, IT Service Delivery, IT infrastructure services, workplace IT support and ServiceDesk, Enterprise Applications (Digital IT Solutions, ERP), Cybersecurity.

We are looking for Head of Enterprise Applications (Business IS manager) to lead the strategy and management of group-wide applications and delivery teams. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire software deployment lifecycle, ensuring that our application portfolio is aligned with organizational objectives and delivers business value and is maintained and supported.

In this position you will:

• Lead teams and technical product managers responsible for enterprise applications deployment and data analytics solutions (20 people).
• Develop enterprise applications strategy for application use, integration, improvements to meet business goals.
• Oversee the entire applications lifecycle (planning, design, implementation, upgrades, maintenance and support, decommissioning).
• Work with Avia Solution Group subsidiary companies on enterprise applications deployment and consult IT managers and business about IT solutions deployment.
• Coordinate teams work with other units in Digital Technologies Department (IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, ServiceDesk, IT Governance etc.) and business process owners.
• Coordinate external vendors including contracts negotiations, work scope and responsibilities definitions and results control.
• Initiate and lead AI based innovations and business processes re-design, improvement.
• Be responsible for Enterprise Applications Unit budget and expenses control.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience as Engineering Manager, Team Lead or similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge about software development and standard software deployment processes.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Have project management, tasks planning and time tracking skills.
• Are familiar with ITSM principles.
