Avia Solutions Group (ASG) Global Services Philippines is looking for a Senior Accountant who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company’s financial records. The role combines hands-on accounting, financial analysis, audit support, compliance and reporting with business insights to drive informed decision-making.
This position is based in the ASG Global Services Philippines office in BGC, Taguig, under a hybrid setup, working in the APAC time zone.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure timely closing of books, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Review aging reports, accrual postings, income and expense recognition.
- Maintain compliance with tax, audit, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare other assigned ad-hoc tasks.
General Ledger and Reconciliations
- Manage the accounting processes including accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, fixed assets and payroll accounting.
- Execute the monthly closing process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Perform and review balance sheet, bank, intercompany and subsidiary reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies timely.
Internal Controls and Process Improvement
- Establish and strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and financial procedures.
- Identify process gaps and drive efficiency improvements.
Audit and Compliance Support
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants and government agencies.
- Assist with audit requirements by coordinating documentation and responding to auditor requests.
- Implement audit recommendations and maintain proper financial documentation.
Statutory Reporting
- Prepare and file various statutory reports including tax returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field.
- CPA certification is considered as an advantage.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in accounting, financial reporting or general ledger functions. Working with an auditing firm considered as advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering high-accuracy outputs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Skilled at managing competing priorities and consistently meeting critical deadlines.
- Proactive and solution-driven, with demonstrated effectiveness in strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
