Responsibilities:

  • Ensure aircraft are maintained as per the requirements of approved documents and other regulatory requirements in the most efficient and economical manner.
  • Ensure aircraft are dispatched in a timely manner and with the highest technical efficiency and safety standard.
  • Manages, controls, and supervises maintenance activities and ensures adequate coverage and support in accordance with standard procedures with full compliance to relevant airworthiness requirement.
  • Monitors and controls maintenance checks activities to ensure work input requirements, quality standards, completion time, cost constraints and service agreement items are fulfilled.
  • Ensure all aircraft documents and reports are properly recorded, accurate and promptly submitted.
  • Ensure defects are rectified accurately and work is carried out as per current Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.
  • Ensure all spare parts taken from store are recorded and inspected for general condition before being brought out from the store premises.
  • Collects and/or generates reports on MOR and circulates to all departments.
  • Participates in the evaluation, inspection, and acceptance of new or leased aircraft and prepares for the return of leased aircraft expeditiously.
  • Reviews and investigates recurring defects, the use of Minimum Equipment List (MEL), deferred defects, Notes to Crew (NTC) and crew complaints with an objective of reducing such occurrences.
  • Liaises with Approved Maintenance Organization of Line Maintenance for issues related to technical.
  • Manage communication center 24 hours for daily line maintenance operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments for daily needs of maintenance operations and in emergencies like change of aircraft, delays, cancellation, AOG and etc.
  • Assist in handling of repetitive defects and AOG situations by researching defect history, determining corrective actions and in any other manner necessary.
  • Identify and monitor critical real time and repetitive aircraft defects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related to Aviation field (or higher)
  • 5 years in airlines company or aviation industry
  • Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to lead the team, prioritize and task achievable.
  • Be able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent Judgment and professional maturity.
  • Strong communication in English and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work effectively with associates at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Computer skills- Proficient in Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Project.
