YOUR TASKS:

  • Plan and execute aviation quality audits across different areas, processes, and departments according to the annual audit plan.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance compliance audits in line with FAA, and IDAC regulations.
  • Generate audit reports, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement in the Maintenance and Quality Systems.
  • Monitor non-conformance reports, evaluate root causes, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assess, approve, and audit subcontractors and vendors impacting aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Participate in incident and accident investigations in coordination with maintenance and safety teams.
  • Support the development of new maintenance capabilities through self-assessment processes.
  • Schedule and lead audit meetings, present findings, and foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • University or College Degree in Engineering (preferably Aerospace/Aviation) OR minimum 5 years of equivalent aviation experience.
  • At least 2 years of aviation experience in CRS or OMA (Quality, Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, Inspection, or Training areas).
  • Minimum 1 year of auditor experience in an aircraft maintenance organization or operator (airworthiness domain).
  • Completed Technical (Professional or Intermediate) career in aviation or engineering.
  • Training and certification as Internal or Lead Auditor under ISO 9001.
  • Familiarity with FAA FAR and IDAC RAD Parts 21, 39, 43, 65, 145, 110, 120.
  • Training in FAA regulations/aviation law.
  • Training in aviation auditing techniques.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills; native Spanish preferred.
  • Previous experience as an aircraft maintenance mechanic/technician (advantage).
