Financial Controller. Vilnius, Lithuania

We promise a highly challenging field and wide scope of responsibilities, which will initially cover:

• Supporting top management and business with high quality analysis, reporting and insights;
• Preparing management reports for top management and shareholders on ad-hoc or scheduled basis;
• Managing and controlling finance and accounting operations for BAA Training companies;
• Managing budgeting process for BAA Training companies and preparing consolidated budget as well as stand-alone budgets for each company;
• Supporting months-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing process;
• Involvement in shareholders’ strategic projects;
• Analyzing and communicating financial results (monitoring variances vs budget/forecast, analyzing underlying performance), highlighting key focus areas;
• Developing of financial reporting tools;
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

We dream about a team member who:

• Has more than two years of experience in a finance control or analysis role;
• Holds a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline;
• Demonstrates proficiency in MS Excel;
• Can work independently, is self-motivated and willing to take ownership;
• Possesses a passion for data, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills;
• Communicates effectively in English;
• Is flexible with good time management skills;
• Maintains a respectful and positive attitude;
• Has an interest in continuous learning and thinks aviation could be the love of one’s life;
• Has knowledge and experience working with BI tools, e.g. Power BI, QlikView, Qlik Sense (an advantage);
• Has experience working in Big 4 companies (an advantage).
