IT PROJECT MANAGER – INFRASTRUCTURE TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS. Vilnius, Lithuania / remote

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the transition, integration, and ongoing management of IT infrastructure services from subsidiaries companies into our central holding company's shared infrastructure framework. This role is key in enhancing operational efficiency and aligning infrastructure management across our organization.

We offer work in Digital Technologies (IT) department, acting as a central unit for managing strategy, innovation and IT projects and programs. Our department provides services to subsidiary companies related to IT Governance & Management, IT Service Delivery, IT infrastructure services, workplace IT support and ServiceDesk, Enterprise Applications (Digital IT Solutions, ERP), Cybersecurity, Project Management.

IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the assessment, transition, and long-term service management of IT infrastructure in close collaboration with stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the entire lifecycle of infrastructure transition projects, including initial audit, planning, execution, and final integration.
  • Infrastructure Audit: Oversee comprehensive audits of existing infrastructure, services, and resources to determine scope, readiness, and requirements for successful integration.
  • Team Building & Management: Identify resource requirements, facilitate recruitment, and establish a dedicated infrastructure support team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with multiple stakeholders, including subsidiary companies, internal teams, third-party vendors, and executive management, ensuring transparent communication and collaboration.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and develop actionable mitigation plans; ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed project documentation and regular progress reports, clearly communicating milestones, risks, and achievements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience managing IT infrastructure transitions, integrations, or related complex projects.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, management, IT service delivery frameworks, cloud environments (Azure), networks, cybersecurity, and Microsoft M365 ecosystems.
  • Project Management Certifications (preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical Thinking: Capable of critical thinking, anticipating potential challenges, and proactively suggesting solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with attention to detail, capable of managing complex project schedules, resources, and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM frameworks and Change Management processes.
  • Experience in infrastructure audits and technical resource hiring.
  • Previous experience working within shared services or holding company structures.

Salary: from 3900 € to 5400 € (brutto)
