Explore the Core of Aviation Operations – From Systems to Strategy
We’re looking for an Aviation Systems Operations Specialist to join our team – a role designed to provide early-career professionals with a unique, strategic view of how aviation systems support operational and business performance.
In this specialist position, you’ll work with a variety of aviation system contracts and gain insight into the platforms that power airline operations – from dispatch and crew management to maintenance, planning, and more. You’ll evaluate contract terms, assess system capabilities, and help ensure that technical and operational requirements align with broader business objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Review and analyze aviation systems contracts (both existing and proposed), identifying key operational, financial, and technical conditions.
- Interpret fee structures and assess actual costs against contractual terms.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Flight Operations, Technical Operations, IT, and Legal to ensure alignment between system functionality, contract conditions, and operational needs.
- Monitor system usage patterns in the context of day-to-day operations, user groups, and evolving business cases related to aviation platforms.
- Support the documentation and mapping of the Group’s overall aviation systems landscape to help guide future integration and investment decisions.
Your Profile:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Aviation, Aeronautics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, with a passion for aviation systems and operational efficiency.
- Clear communicator with the ability to work across teams and translate technical information for business stakeholders and vice versa.
- Comfortable working with structured documents, cost models, and system specifications.
- Proficient in MS Excel and document management tools; any experience with aviation software (e.g., AMOS, AIMS, Navblue products, etc.) is a plus but not required.
