Avia Solutions Group Global Services Philippines is on the lookout for a Planning Engineer to support Avion Express, the largest narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) operator in the world.

Reporting to Avion Express, this role will be based in the ASG Global Services Philippines office in BGC, Taguig City, working in a hybrid setup aligned with the EMEA or Oceania / Asia Pacific time zone.

* Upon starting work, you will be required to align your schedule with the Eastern European time zone throughout the training/orientation period.

** This role requires occasional on-call duties during weekends on a rotational basis. Candidates should be prepared to respond to urgent issues or incidents as needed. Appropriate compensation or time-off arrangements will be provided as per local labor law and company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that scheduled aircraft maintenance requirements are planned and performed as per applicable regulations and manuals in due time.
  • Plan and control the performance of scheduled maintenance of the company’s fleet aircraft, assuring compliance with maintenance operation time limits for aircraft and life limits for aircraft components through the issue of appropriate documents.
  • Update information in the MMS (Maintenance Management System) database in accordance with the area of responsibility.
  • Prepare and issue Work Orders and Work Packages in line with the approved maintenance program and instructions provided by the aircraft/component/equipment manufacturer.
  • Record the accomplishment of Work Orders and Work Packages in the MMS;
  • Monitor maintenance schedule forecasts and control airworthiness of the fleet.
  • Verify that scheduled maintenance is performed by approved Part 145 organizations.
  • Control the release-to-service documentation following maintenance activities.
  • Incorporate maintenance and component history data of new aircraft introduced to the company’s fleet.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or College Degree in Aeronautical or Engineering
  • 2-3 years’ experience in CAMO, preferably in maintenance planning
  • Knowledge of applicable aviation regulations, CAME and CAME Procedures for Air Operators
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant Aircraft Maintenance Programs
  • Familiarity with OASES and AMOS software would be an advantage
