Responsibilities:
SMS Administration: Support the Safety Manager in developing, implementing, administering, and continuously improving the Safety Management System (SMS) and its documentation.
Regulatory & External Liaison: Act as a key liaison with the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), international regulatory bodies, OEMs, and external vendors (e.g., Acron Aviation).
FDM Program Management: Oversee the day-to-day administration of the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) program, including system health checks, data integrity, and uploading/downloading data.
Crew Identity Custodyship: Serve as the sole custodian linking flight crew identities to FDM events, strictly ensuring crew confidentiality and fostering a non-punitive safety culture.
FDM Communication & Feedback: Act as the primary liaison between flight crew and management for FDM issues, providing advisory briefings and managing confidential crew contacts.
Hazard & Risk Management: Facilitate hazard identification and risk analysis, while maintaining the official register of hazards, risks, and mitigation controls.
Incident Investigation & Reporting: Ensure internal incidents, hazards, and Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs) are independently investigated, processed to closure, and reported to CAAT.
Database & Trend Analysis: Maintain the organization's safety reporting database, monitor safety trends, and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.
Safety Promotion & Training: Promote a positive safety culture, disseminate safety information across the airline, and ensure high-standard SMS training is delivered to relevant personnel.
Board & Committee Facilitation: Organize Safety, Security, and Quality Review Board (SSQRB) meetings, facilitate Safety Action Group (SAG) meetings, and prepare periodic safety performance reports for senior management.
