Junior Materials Controller. Riga, Latvia

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Materials Controller/Assistant to AOG Desk to join our international team.

This position is based in Riga and offers an exciting opportunity to work in the aviation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the efficient management of materials, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing support to the AOG (Aircraft on Ground) desk.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Updating the DMI (Dashboard for Materials Inventory) system to maintain accurate inventory records;
  • Follow up on the delivery of parts to ensure timely availability for maintenance and repair activities;
  • Assisting the AOG desk in coordinating urgent material requirements for grounded aircraft;
  • Maintain and update the OASES (Optimized Aviation System for Engineering and Maintenance) database;
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in data entry tasks.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in data entry;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel;
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team;
  • Basic knowledge of aviation materials and inventory control principles (preferred but not required);
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment;
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to take initiative.
