Aircraft Mechanic for SAW, Turkey station. Istanbul, Turkey

SmartLynx Technik is looking for experienced Aircraft Mechanics for our station in SAW to perform line maintenance on our B737MAX-8 aircraft. Mechanics endorsed on the A320 will be considered an advantage.

The contract duration is 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES

  • You will be involved in line maintenance activities on customer's aircraft in a safe and timely manner;
  • Will perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with company procedures, approved data, and Part 145 regulation;
  • Will be required to work as part of a small team covering a 24/7 operation which is usually 14 on 14 off shift pattern;
  • Implementing and adhering to strict safety guidelines;
  • Will report all quality and safety-related issues;
  • Creating and maintaining repair logs and records;
  • Collaborating with engineers and system mechanics to ensure that all aircraft systems are running correctly;
  • The right candidate will have a pro-active and flexible approach and be expected to work away from the base when needed;
  • Ensuring tools/ equipment, vehicles, and facilities are maintained to an acceptable standard;
  • Ensuring that all aircraft parts are accurately labeled, organized, and restored;
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Experience on B737NG/MAX (sheet metal experience considered to be an advantage);
  •  Experience on A320 will be considered an advantage
  • Part-66, Part-145 regulation knowledge;
  • At least two years experience as a line/ base maintenance mechanic;
  • Relevant pages of personal experience logbook;
  • Good computer skills are a requirement;
  • Category B driving license is essential.
