Locatory.com is part of ASG and is an international B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) aviation marketplace, connecting airlines, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers, suppliers, and brokers globally. We deliver innovative technology solutions through multiple applications, integrations, APIs, and maintain a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process.
We are looking for a meticulous and highly organized Part-Time Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist, primarily focused on manual software testing. Your primary goal will be ensuring that our systems maintain exceptional quality standards. Candidates with experience or familiarity with automated testing tools will have a competitive advantage.
Responsibilities:
• Execute manual testing across web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
• Create, document, and implement test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
• Identify, document, and monitor software defects using Jira or similar platforms, ensuring proper resolution.
• Navigate SQL databases and write simple SQL queries to validate test outcomes.
• Work closely with software developers, product manager, and stakeholders to fully understand requirements and conduct thorough testing.
• Perform regression testing during software release cycles as part of our CI/CD practices.
• Support continuous improvements in QA processes and practices.
• Generate detailed and informative testing reports for stakeholders and management.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience conducting manual testing for web-based applications.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
• Fundamental knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Experience utilizing Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to effectively manage tasks independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge or experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience in SaaS or the aviation industry will be advantageous.

This is opportunity is for individual contractors, the cooperation will be under a service provider agreement. The remuneration is a subject of an individual negotiation with candidates. The price rate is 18 EUR/hour, butut it might be adjusted based on candidate's skills.
