About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Analytics Engineer with strong expertise in Power BI (including Power BI Fabric) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new reports, enhancing and modifying existing reports, and supporting ad-hoc ETL development in Python.

You will work closely with various business stakeholders from customer success teams to top management to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions and insights. An important early focus will be supporting the organization’s ongoing transition from QlikSense to Power BI while ensuring the continuity and enhancement of existing reporting processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Power BI & Power BI Fabric:

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Configure and manage pipelines in Power BI Fabric for data processing and automation.
• Automate data processing pipelines for scalability and efficiency.
• Develop Python-based ETL workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.
• Ensure database performance, tuning, and data quality.

SQL:

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Perform ad-hoc data preparation and transformation tasks.
• Work with multiple RDBMS systems.

Nice To Have

• Basic understanding of QlikSense, including navigating dashboards and interpreting key metrics
• Familiarity with Airflow for orchestrating and monitoring data workflows
• Experience using GitHub for version control and collaborative development
• Exposure to Azure / cloud-based BI platforms, experience with CI/CD for BI solutions and familiarity with data warehouse/Lakehouse architectures would be considered as advantage.
