Technical Safety and Compliance Coordinator. Vilnius, Lithuania

We are looking for a Technical Safety and Compliance Coordinator to ensure effective management and timely closure of technical safety and compliance cases related to continuing airworthiness.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and investigate technical safety and compliance cases related to continuing airworthiness, including SMS events, SACA/SAFA findings and internal/external audit findings;
  • Conduct safety risk assessments, identify root causes and missed barriers, and coordinate appropriate corrective and risk mitigation actions;
  • Monitor the timely implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure proper case closure;
  • Collect and review technical information and supporting evidence required for investigations, risk assessments and compliance closure;
  • Act as a liaison between CAMO, Maintenance, Flight Operations and other relevant departments on technical safety and compliance matters;
  • Provide technical support during regulatory audits and inspections and represent the Technical Department in relevant safety meetings;
  • Participate in the technical and safety assessment of manufacturers’ Service Bulletins (SBs), including fleet applicability, reliability data and safety implications;
  • Coordinate technical inputs from CAMO, MCC, Maintenance, Flight Operations, OEMs and other stakeholders;
  • Ensure safety investigations, assessments, decisions and corrective actions are properly documented;
  • Deliver technical safety and compliance awareness training when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering or a similar aviation technical role;
  • Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS), Compliance Monitoring Systems (CMS) and technical investigations;
  • Good knowledge of aviation safety and continuing airworthiness requirements, including EASA Part M / Part CAMO, ICAO and IOSA standards;
  • Understanding of aircraft systems, structures and maintenance practices;
  • Knowledge of safety risk assessment and root cause analysis techniques;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and technical report-writing skills;
  • Good command of English language;
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with different departments;
  • Aviation Safety / SMS training or certification would be considered an advantage.
