CHIEF CREW PLANNING. Vilnius, Lithuania

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform crew planning activities, and oversee crew rosters for the legality, quality and efficiency;
  • Determine crew manpower (establishment) requirements, including long-term plans and strategies to support network/fleet expansion;
  • Plan and track crew cost and crew rotation budget;
  • Control crew training, leave and other non-flying activity on the rosters;
  • Manage the company’s Fatigue Risk Management System, including analysis of reports and development/assessment of company scheduling policies;
  • Carry out short term crew planning;
  • Calculate and monitor crew duties according to flight time limitations (EASA FTL/Company manuals);
  • Communicate directly with crew members;
  • Monitor crew qualifications;
  • Perform other relevant duties according to operational needs;
  • Plan crew needs for different bases and projects in cooperation with various departments;
  • Develop research schedules to react to various operational changes;
  • Administer crew requests;
  • Prepare overview reports.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-year work experience in a related field, including at least 2 years experience of an aviation-related position;
  • Customer service attitude;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Attention to detail, ability to work with a large scope of data and priorities;
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, resolve issues independently and work effectively;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English;
  • Experience in manpower planning principles and practical modelling;
  • Highly computer literate: both advanced Excel and super user experience of a crew scheduling system (Leon, AIMS, Sabre, NetLine, Jeppesen Etc.);
  • Fatigue Risk Management experience (previous use of the bio-mathematical model would be considered a benefit);
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EASA Flight crew duty regulations;
  • Ability and motivation to keep to-to-date with regulatory developments (e.g. EASA rulemaking) and adapt to changing best practices;
  • Ability to work in high pressure and stressful environment.

Salary: from 2600 € (brutto)
