YOUR TASKS:
Drafting and negotiating various legal documents applicable to the Company and its global affiliates, including international commercial contracts, standard templates, corporate governance documents, and legal support for significant business transactions.
Participating in legal and business projects to ensure timely and successful delivery of assigned legal tasks across the Group.
Contributing to the development of Group-wide internal regulations (e.g., policies, procedures, guidelines) in cooperation with affiliated entities by drafting, reviewing, and supporting the implementation and coordination of such documentation.
Identifying, assessing, advising on, and mitigating legal risks relevant to the Company and its affiliates, and monitoring the effectiveness of risk management efforts.
Representing the Company’s and its affiliates’ legal position before third parties, including in court and in relation to jurisdictional matters.
Continuously reviewing and recommending improvements to existing legal processes and procedures, and leading or supporting the implementation of necessary changes.
Managing external counsel relationships effectively, including scope definition, cost control, and review of deliverables.
Actively participating in cross-functional working groups or steering committees, ensuring legal input is integrated into strategic and operational decisions.
Providing accurate and timely legal advice to internal stakeholders, both in writing and orally.
Conducting legal research on relevant laws, regulations, practices, and case law applicable to the business activities of the Company and its affiliates.
Responsibilities in foreign jurisdictions shall be performed in close coordination with, and with the support and advice of, qualified external legal service providers engaged by the Company where appropriate.
Data Privacy Responsibilities (up to 25% of total workload):
Acting as a single point of contact (SPOC) for data protection authorities (DPAs) and internal business units on legal matters related to data privacy and personal data protection.
Reviewing and drafting privacy-related documentation, including internal policies, data processing agreements, consent forms, and other privacy notices.
Advising internal clients on compliance with data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA, etc.), including during the onboarding of new processes or systems.
Supporting the development and maintenance of internal privacy governance frameworks in cooperation with business units and compliance teams.
