YOUR TASKS:

  • Support the Lead Design Engineer/ HDO in technical evaluations;
  • Estimate manhours, identify technical data needs, and anticipate project challenges;
  • Guide engineers on acceptable means of compliance for cabin safety/ interior changes;
  • Verify compliance documentation (Panel 11);
  • Ensure inclusion of ICAs and compliance with 25.1529;
  • Oversee test program documentation (plans/reports) for CS, OSD, and environmental compliance;
  • Prepare and review technical reports and certification documentation i.a.w FLT DOA Procedures Manual and Handbook.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • 7+ years experience in Part 21J Design Approval Organization as an Interior/ Cabin Safety CVE;
  • Fluent in English and strong teamwork skills;
  • Design Modifications Experience: interior cabin (emergency equipment layouts, cabin reconfigurations, cabin refurbishments; installation of various fixed components, textiles etc.), seat layout changes (9G/16G seats) and seats refurbishments, exterior livery changes;
  • Strong knowledge of CS/JAR/FAR 25 requirements (e.g., 25.562, 25.601, 25.785, 25.853, etc.) and other applicable certification guidances, AMC's, Certification Memorandas, Advisory Circulars, etc.;
  • Skilled with CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks optional);
  • Able to prepare Part 21J -compliant documentation (drawings, SB's, reports, compliance docs);
  • Knowledge of TC holders standards (Boeing, Airbus), OSD, and aircraft documentation (frame specs, guidance, manuals etc.).
