Our immediate objectives are building up data governance processes and practices and developing a modern, highly scalable, reliable, and secure data warehousing service.  This is a green field initiative, meaning that you will be able to participate in the creation of a brand-new data management practice and have the chance to build it like you have always wanted to. To that end we are seeking ambitious and highly motivated individuals with experience and skills in the data management and data technology domains and a good understanding of the data value chain. 

You will report directly to the Head of Data, so you can be sure that your ideas will be heard, and you will truly have a chance to make a direct impact in the way we build up the practice. 

YOUR TASKS:

• Engage and maintain working relationships with stakeholders to understand their data & analytics priorities;
• Translate business priorities into technical specifications for data/analytics engineering;
• Be the subject matter expert in FL Technics data and analytics product portfolio;
• Together with the Head of Data drive data governance initiatives;
• Develop yourself and people around you to foster data literacy and data culture;
• Be the ambassador of data driven working practices;
• Design and develop digital reporting solutions in Power BI. 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Willingness to grow and develop in the data and analytics domain;
• 2-3 years of IT Business Analysis experience, preferably in the space of data and analytics technologies. business intelligence, data warehousing or similar;
• Experience in system and data model analysis, understanding, and producing relevant technical documentation;
• Good understanding of the data and analytics value chain and technology stack;
• Experience in Agile ways of working; 
• Strong ability to identify, formulate problems and propose solutions;
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills;
• Good English knowledge, both speaking and writing;
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get things done;
• Knowledge of Azure Fabric, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft PowerBI or equivalent products is a big plus.
