ABOUT THE COMPANY:

FL Technics Wheels & Brakes Srl. is a subsidiary of FL Technics UAB, a provider of tailor-made services for aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), delivering solutions to commercial aviation customers worldwide. FL Technics Wheels & Brakes Srl. is specialized in the maintenance and repair of aircraft wheels and brakes.   

To expand our team in Bergamo, we are looking for: ACCOUNTANT

YOUR TASKS:

  • Perform full accounting of the company (incl. fixed assets, invoicing/AR, AP, accruals, bank reconciliations, debt reconciliations with customers and vendors, IFRS9 and IFRS16 calculations);
  • Manage communication with customers and vendors regarding finance related questions;
  • Manage preparation of local statutory financial statement (with the help of local accounting/tax advisors);
  • Prepare group reporting packs (in line with IFRS) and on timely basis submit information to Group’s consolidation/reporting platform;
  • Coordinate the annual financial audit, ensuring timely and accurate reporting;
  • Be responsible for annual budget preparation, including revised monthly/quarterly financial forecasts;
  • Closely cooperate with local advisors to ensure tax compliance and timely payroll processing;
  • Drive the initiatives in the standardization, optimization and digitalization processes within the company, including MS Business Central ERP implementation project;
  • Implementation of the Group accounting policies and procedures;
  • Act as a key liaison locally in Italy for Group’s central finance team.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Experience in the field of accounting, preferable within international business at least 2-3 years;
  • Business language fluent in written and spoken English and Italian;
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new culture, dynamic environment and people;
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills, result and customer orientation;
  • Ability to work in a team as well as alone, high self-motivation, problem-solving skills and structured way of working;
  • Confident handling of MS-Office (especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook);
  • Practical knowledge of Navision/MS Business central would be an advantage;
  • Experience with IFRS standards would be an advantage.
