We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Group HR team in a standalone position in Frankfurt, Germany for a motivated

HR Advisor (12-month fixed-term contract with the view to become permanent) 

Purpose of the role:

  • To work closely with the International HR Business Partner to support in implementing the HR strategy in Germany.
  • To work with the International HR Business Partner to support and create clarity for staff in Germany on company processes and to foster a supportive and engaging place to work.
  • To work in conjunction with the International HR Business Partner to streamline international HR processes and create consistency and fairness in People approaches.
  • To provide coaching support for Germany employee relations work, providing a strong service to managers and staff, as required.
  • To support the International HRBP with people processes, such as onboarding, appraisals, leavers paperwork and reminders (prompting holidays / sickness management).

Person Specification:

  • Reporting into the International HR Business Partner based at our London Gatwick Headquarters, the successful candidate will be fluent in both German and English.
  • Proven experience from working within a busy HR department for at least 4 years.
  • We would like to encourage candidates from both Frankfurt and Cologne to apply, as we have established offices in both locations.
  • The successful candidate must have a good understanding of both Germany employment law and EU GDPR rules and regulations, as well as being confident in drafting contractual employment documents.
  • At least 1 years’ experience in drafting HR related policies is essential to succeed in this position. Whilst not essential, it would be desirable for any candidate to bring a relevant HR degree, as well as a commercially focused attitude
  • Competence when using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential, as is the passion to succeed!
  • We are looking for a resilient individual who can advocate for the company whilst also providing an excellent HR service internally.
