JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting reported aircraft defects to identify root causes and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Analyze repetitive and recurring defects in compliance with the Repetitive Defect Control Program, coordinating with engineering and maintenance teams for technical resolution.
  • Assist Duty Engineer/ MCC in providing technical troubleshooting support and developing defect recovery plans.
  • Provide technical documentation support for troubleshooting procedures and recommend improvements to maintenance processes
  • Monitor and analyze deferred maintenance items (DMI) and deferred defects, ensuring appropriate rectification actions are recommended within operational limits and maintenance schedules.
  • Plan and coordinate troubleshooting activities for defect rectification (including DMIs and repetitive defects) and monitor the status of closed defects to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Advise the Material Controller on required parts and materials necessary for defect rectification and closure.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports for repetitive defects, major technical incidents, and critical maintenance findings, including proposed solutions and preventive measures.
  • Coordinate with Technical services to review aircraft operational data and maintenance history to detect defect trends and recommend maintenance program changes or additional inspections as necessary.
  • Participate with Technical services/Engineering support teams to liaise with manufacturers, and MRO providers for technical consultations, troubleshooting assistance, and solution development.
  • Any other task assigned by Maintenance Manager
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Area of Education : Graduates of Aviation Technical School, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience : At least 5 years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
  • Language Proficiency : Fluent in English language.
  • Certification : Human Factor, Safety Management System, Duty Security Training, A320 Family (CFM Engine Preferable) Initial / Recurrent Training, B737-600/700/800/900 Initial /Recurrent Training, English Proficiency.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in common software applications including Word and Excel.

    • Strong in data analyst and predictive defect.

    • Only for Indonesian Citizens.
