Financial Controller. Vilnius, Lithuania

You will play an important role in analyzing financial data and helping to identify company’s financial and investment strategies. BAA Training has offices in Vilnius, Lithuania; Paris; Barcelona; Lleida, Spain; and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. We promise a highly challenging field and wide scope of responsibilities, which will initially cover:

• Support top management and business with high quality analysis, reporting and insights.
• Prepare management reports for top management and shareholders on ad-hoc or scheduled basis.
• Managing and controlling finance and accounting operations for BAA Training companies.
• Manage budgeting process for BAA Training companies and prepare consolidated budget as well as stand-alone budgets for each company.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing process.
• Involvement in Shareholder’s strategic projects.
• Analyze and communicate financial results (monitor variances vs budget/forecast, analyze underlying performance), highlight key focus areas.
• Development of financial reporting tools.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

We dream about a team member who:

• Has more than three years of experience in a financial control or analysis role.
• Holds a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrates proficiency in MS Excel.
• Can work independently, is self-motivated and takes ownership.
• Possesses a passion for data, keen attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
• Communicates effectively in English.
• Is flexible with good time management skills.
• Maintains a respectful and positive attitude.
• Has an interest in continuous learning and thinks aviation could be the love of one`s life.
• Knowledge and experience of working with BI tools, e.g. Power BI, QlikView, Qlik Sense, is a plus.
• Big 4 experience is a plus.
