Aviation Systems Technical Administrator. All cities, All countries

As an Aviation Systems Technical Administrator in the ASG Aviation Solutions and Corporate Integration department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and deployment of aviation systems, including M&E/MRO systems and flight operations systems, across multiple aviation companies within the group. This role focuses on technical system administration, interfacing with third-party applications, and ensuring system stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data migration activities during aviation systems implementation, ensuring clean and structured data flow.
  • Develop and maintain interfaces between aviation systems, like AMOS, and third-party systems (ERP, flight ops, supply chain, data lake, etc.).
  • Monitor aviation system availability and performance.
  • Ensure backup, restore, and failover procedures are well-established and tested.
  • Troubleshoot aviation system-related infrastructure issues, including virtual environments and networks.
  • Manage system performance, Webdrive availability, and disk space optimizations.
  • Patch, upgrade, and optimize databases & operating systems.
  • Ensure system security, reliability, and compliance across airline IT environments.
  • Assist in deployment, scheduled downtime, synchronized configurations / system settings, and infrastructure scaling for aviation IT systems.
  • Travel internationally for subsidiary company implementation, training, or support.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in system administration, preferably within aviation IT environments.
  • Experience in data migration tools & techniques (ETL, SQL, data transformation).
  • Strong knowledge of system integration & interfacing using APIs, web services, XML, JSON.
  • Hands-on experience in OS (Linux, others), DBMS (PostgreSQL, others), and cloud environments (Azure, others).
  • Hands-on experience in analytic platforms like PowerBI, knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
  • Aviation industry experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
