Aviation Systems Functional Analyst. All cities, All countries

As an Aviation Systems Functional Analyst in the ASG Aviation Solutions and Corporate Integration department, you will be responsible for the implementation and support of aviation systems across ASG’s subsidiaries. This role focuses on business processes, system enhancements, and training to ensure efficient system adoption and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement aviation systems, including AMOS, in multiple airline operations, ensuring best practices and optimized system usage.
  • Conduct business process studies, analyze airline workflows, and identify areas for system enhancements.
  • Write enhancement specifications, including business requirements for BI dashboards, and coordinate with development teams for customizations.
  • Manage data migration, including mapping, transformation, validation, and cleansing.
  • Support and manage interfaces with third-party applications such as ERP, flight operations, and MRO systems.
  • Test applications to confirm all business use cases are supported before go-live. • Monitor aviation system alerts for errors and warnings.
  • Act as first-level support for system-related issues, including troubleshooting and printer configurations.
  • Organize training sessions and create training manuals for end-users.
  • Coordinate system version upgrades, testing, and release management.
  • Monitor business-scheduled tasks (including interfaces) and resolve scheduled job issues.
  • Document, control, and manage post go-live customizations across all airlines to ensure a degree of uniformity and traceability.
  • Travel internationally for subsidiary company implementations, training, and support.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in aviation IT, AMOS administration, or similar MRO/M&E software.
  • Experience implementing or supporting AMOS or similar systems in airlines or MROs
  • Strong knowledge of business processes in airline maintenance, engineering, planning, inventory, and finance.
  • Hands-on experience in data migration (ETL tools, data transformation, validation).
  • Strong knowledge of system integration and API-based interfacing with third-party applications.
  • Excellent technical documentation skills (enhancement specifications, training manuals).
