Senior Continuing Airworthiness Officer. Bratislava, Slovakia

Job description, responsibilities and duties

A Continuing Airworthiness Officer is a professional responsible for ensuring that aircraft are maintained in a condition that is safe for operation throughout their service life. This role involves overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and managing documentation related to the airworthiness of the aircraft.

  • Recording of flight hours and cycles from the ATLS system.
  • Planning and controlling the execution of all maintenance tasks in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program (AMP), including Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and modifications, and entering planned maintenance into NO-C and OASES systems.
  • Creating and processing maintenance documentation, including maintenance records.
  • Ensuring continuing airworthiness management and the installation of components are carried out in compliance with the Approved Maintenance Program and EASA Part-M requirements.
  • Preparing drafts of the Maintenance Program and Reliability Program, including revisions.
  • Preparing Reliability Reports and performing analysis of the effectiveness of the Approved Maintenance Program.
  • Ensuring that each applicable Airworthiness Directive (AD), operational directives, and mandatory continuing airworthiness requirements issued by the Authority (e.g. EASA or Transport Authority) are properly recorded, assessed, and implemented.
  • Reviewing and implementing applicable Service Bulletins (SBs).
  • Controlling, maintaining, and distributing instructions for continuing airworthiness in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensuring that all modifications and repairs are performed in accordance with approved standards.
  • Ensuring proper retention of maintenance records in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Liaising with OEMs and vendors on technical matters within the scope of responsibilities.
  • Monitoring technical requirements for continuing airworthiness issued by EASA, Transport Authority, and others, including documentation for the implementation of mandatory and optional modifications.
  • Managing the Maintenance Provider List in cases of technical support requests.
