Flight Operations Officer / Flight Dispatcher
The Flight Operations Officer / Flight Dispatcher supports and exercises operational control of company flights in accordance with BBN Airlines (Thailand) policies, ICAO / CAAT regulations, and applicable safety standards, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support operational control of flights in compliance with company, ICAO, and CAAT requirements.
- Perform operational control duties as assigned by the Nominated Person Flight Operations.
- Prepare, monitor, and update flight schedules, operational data, and flight information in company systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on flight operations, delays, disruptions, and irregularities.
- Monitor aircraft status, MEL/NEF items, and operational limitations, ensuring accurate communication and system updates.
- Support flight planning and operational monitoring, including weather, airport, air route, and curfew considerations.
- Provide operational supervision and assistance during normal, abnormal, and adverse operational conditions.
- Ensure proper shift handover, including review of logs, pending issues, and ongoing operational matters.
- Support emergency, security, and irregular operations in accordance with company procedures.
- Comply with company safety policies; deliberate violations of operational safety standards are not acceptable.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Flight Dispatcher License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Flight Dispatcher / Flight Operations Officer position.
- Meet all ICAO, CAAT, and company qualification requirements for Flight Operations Officer / Flight Dispatcher.
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Proficient in preparing and reviewing flight plans, NOTAMs, weather forecasts, and operational documentation.
- Strong understanding of aircraft performance, weight & balance, fuel planning, and aviation regulations.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and communicate clearly with Flight Crew and relevant operational teams.
- Familiar with flight operations systems and tools (e.g., LIDO, Jeppesen, EFB systems, or equivalent).
- Strong situational awareness, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
