Short Term Planning Engineer. Santa Venera, Malta

We seek a detail-oriented Short Term Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Malta. In this role, you will be responsible for creating efficient maintenance plans, ensuring timely task completion, and coordinating closely with logistics and operations to support our 24/7 flight operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily and weekly maintenance plans for line stations.
  • Maintain Work Orders and ensure timely completion of Weekly Checks.
  • Perform scheduling of planned maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with Logistics to ensure the availability of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Monitor aircraft forecasts daily and weekly to ensure maintenance tasks are completed within limits.
  • Review and analyze Technical Log data.
  • Control over and above costs through proper scheduling and task delegation.
  • Assist the Planning Supervisor and Planning Manager with additional tasks as required.
  • Operate within a 24/7 environment; this role is shift-based.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of aviation experience.
  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret maintenance requirements into actionable maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of Boeing 737 MAX is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with EASA rules and regulations, including Part-145 and Part-M.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with data management tools.
