Outsourced Maintenance Supervisor. Riga, Latvia

We are looking for an experienced Outsourced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, proven leadership, and the ability to manage outsourced teams and complex maintenance projects in a fast-paced airline environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee Outsourced Maintenance Teams;
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers and contractors;
  • Coordinate Line Maintenance projects: deployments, aircraft rescues, and ad hoc detachments;
  • Maintain close cooperation with MCC, maintenance suppliers, hangar teams, and commercial/operations;
  • Address supplier issues quickly and decisively, protecting company interests;
  • Prepare clear plans and contingency measures for both scheduled and unscheduled requirements;
  • Provide hands-on support during AOG situations, driving rapid resolution;
  • Produce reports, lead reviews, and follow-ups after major engineering events;
  • Track and analyze KPIs to measure and improve performance;
  • Carry out base visits, customer visits, and aircraft inspections;
  • Ensure all contracted maintenance complies with regulations and company standards;
  • Promote strong, transparent, and efficient working relationships with suppliers and customers;
  • Actively contribute to on-time performance and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Line Maintenance or MCC experience in an airline environment;
  • Strong knowledge of EASA Part 145 and Part M regulations;
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, or proven competency through assessment;
  • Fluent in English, confident with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently away from base;
  • Solid knowledge of IATA SGHA’s;
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills;
  • Structured, organized, and strong time management ability;
  • Flexible, energetic, and curious with a drive to continuously improve.
