SmartLynx Technik is looking for experienced and motivated EASA Part-66 Licensed B1 engineers to join our Line Maintenance team in Riga. You will be responsible for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, defect rectification, and performing maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, as well as defect rectification;
- Sign off on troubleshooting, component replacement (including the use of external test equipment when required), scheduled maintenance and/or checks, modifications, and minor repairs;
- Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with manufacturer and company procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards;
- Accurately complete all required maintenance documentation and records;
- Communicate effectively with Maintenance Control Center (MCC), shift supervisors, and other departments to support efficient aircraft operations.
Requirements:
- Valid EASA Part-66 AML with B1 category;
- Type rating on A320 (CFM56 and/or V2500) is essential; B737 MAX is an advantage;
- Minimum 6 months of recent hands-on experience within the last 2 years in line or base maintenance within an EASA Part-145 approved organization;
- Valid training certificates: Human Factors, FTS Level 2, EWIS Group 4 (minimum);
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written);
- Category B driving license;
- Authorization for engine run-up and borescope inspections will be considered a strong advantage;
- Willingness and ability to work in shifts (including night shifts);
- Willingness to occasionally travel for short-term outstation assignments (typically not more than 12–14 days) based on operational needs;
