TECHNICAL SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR. Vilnius, Lithuania

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a liaison between the CAMO, Maintenance, Flight Operations, and other departments for all technical aviation safety and compliance monitoring related matters.
• Provide technical support during regulatory audits and inspections.
• Prepare information for Safety Review Boards and Safety Action Groups to represent the CAMO department.
• Deliver technical training and safety awareness sessions to Technical Department personnel and other relevant staff.
• Analyze allocated safety events and occurrences (e.g., incidents, near-misses, technical failures), as well as findings affecting the fleet’s airworthiness.
• Perform safety risk assessments and escalate high-risk issues to management.
• Investigate root causes, propose corrective actions, and monitor implementation.
• Oversee timely completion of corrective actions and risk management plans.
• Ensure proper documentation and evidence for case closure.
• Assist in manufacturers' Service Bulletins (SBs) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs) safety assessment.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a similar technical role in aviation.
• Hands-on experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS), Compliance Monitoring Systems (CMS), and technical investigations.
• Strong understanding of aviation safety regulations (e.g., EASA Part M/Part CAMO, ICAO, IOSA).
• Technical expertise in aircraft systems and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in risk assessment and root cause analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Aviation Safety or SMS knowledge (e.g., ICAO SMS course, Safety Risk Management training).
• Aircraft Maintenance License (e.g., EASA Part 66) would be advantageous.
