Senior Maintenance Control Engineer. Vilnius, Lithuania

We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Control Engineer to join KlasJet and take a key role in ensuring the technical reliability and operational readiness of our fleet.

In this position, you will provide senior technical expertise in complex aircraft defects, proactively identify technical risks, support AOG recovery and provide technical guidance to MCC Engineers. You will work closely with MCC, CAMO, OCC, Part-145 providers and OEM technical support to ensure effective technical solutions and minimise operational disruptions.

We would like to entrust you with these duties:

  • Provide senior technical oversight of the operating fleet and act as an escalation point for complex and operationally significant technical issues.
  • Lead and support troubleshooting of complex, repetitive and intermittent aircraft defects, using applicable maintenance data and aircraft technical history.
  • Analyse technical trends and defect history to identify developing issues and initiate proactive troubleshooting or preventive maintenance before they impact operations.
  • Coordinate technical solutions and maintenance actions with CAMO, Part-145 providers, OEM technical support and other relevant functions.
  • Support technically demanding AOG recovery and provide technical recommendations on significant operational decisions.
  • Provide technical guidance and functional support to MCC Engineers, contributing to consistent technical standards and decision-making within the team.
  • Support reliability monitoring, technical investigations and continuous improvement of MCC processes and troubleshooting practices.
  • Ensure technical decisions and activities comply with approved maintenance data, KlasJet procedures and applicable EASA requirements.
  • Identify and escalate technical risks, safety hazards and procedural deviations through the established processes.

We expect you have:

  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical aviation qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance, MCC or continuing airworthiness, with significant Boeing 737 or similar type experience.
  • Strong practical knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting and technical documentation (AMM, FIM, WDM, SSM, IPC, MEL/CDL).
  • Proven experience with complex and repetitive aircraft defect investigation and resolution.
  • Good understanding of EASA Part-CAMO, Part-145 and continuing airworthiness requirements.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and support to other engineers.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 licence with Boeing 737 type rating would be highly advantageous.
  • Previous Boeing 737 certifying staff or line maintenance experience would be highly preferred.

Salary: from 4500 € to 5500 € (brutto)
