KlasJet is seeking an experienced and motivated Head of MCC to lead our Maintenance Control Center and ensure real-time technical support for safe, efficient, and reliable flight operations. This key leadership role is responsible for team performance, technical decision-making, maintenance coordination, and overall fleet operational integrity.
The Head of MCC will work closely with CAMO, maintenance providers, Flight Operations, and OEMs, while ensuring strong cost control and high technical standards across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the MCC team; ensure effective shift structure, escalation processes, and performance aligned with company standards and best practices.
- Promote a strong safety culture, reporting discipline, and professional conduct.
- Oversee all MCC operational and technical activities, ensuring engineers make effective decisions, independently resolve routine issues, and maintain fleet technical integrity.
- Maintain responsibility for overall operational integrity by acting as the escalation point for complex, safety-critical, or high-impact situations requiring senior technical judgment.
- Oversee real-time technical control, defect management, troubleshooting, and AOG recovery timeline.
- Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance to minimize operational disruptions.
- Provide high-level oversight of maintenance readiness and resource availability, while enabling MCC Engineers to manage day-to-day coordination with maintenance providers.
- Make operational maintenance decisions and approvals within delegated authority.
- Ensure accuracy of technical records and compliance with EASA requirements.
- Monitor fleet reliability trends and support preventive improvements.
- Oversee contracted Part-145 performance, troubleshooting quality, and documentation standards.
- Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders during technical events.
- Manage maintenance-related costs and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in MCC, Line/Heavy Maintenance, CAMO, or similar aviation technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO, Part-145, and Part-M.
- Proven leadership experience in a real-time operational environment.
- Solid troubleshooting knowledge of commercial aircraft (B737 experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of technical documentation and maintenance planning.
- Proficiency with AMOS, OASES, or similar maintenance systems.
- Strong communication skills and decision-making ability under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Persistent, determined, and able to follow tasks through to completion.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel when required.
