About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled CAMU Lead Engineer (Structures Group) to oversee structural engineering activities and ensure the continued airworthiness of our aircraft fleet. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the highest safety standards, driving engineering innovation, and leading a team of experts in a dynamic and growing aviation environment.

As a senior technical leader, you will guide the structures team, collaborate with authorities and OEMs, and directly influence fleet safety, maintenance quality, and long‑term structural reliability.

YOUR TASKS:

Lead & Develop the Structures Engineering Team

- Manage and coach a team of structural engineers.

- Set priorities, allocate workload, and ensure technical excellence.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Drive Structural Airworthiness & Compliance

- Ensure all activities meet EASA/FAA, OEM, and company standards.

- Lead preparations for internal, customer, and authority audits.

- Review regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation.

Provide Expert Technical Oversight

- Prepare, verify, and approve Engineering Orders, Job Cards, and Job Orders.

- Evaluate ADs, SBs, STCs, and MODs to determine fleet impact.

- Support structural damage assessments and provide repair recommendations.

- Liaise with OEMs, MROs, and authorities when needed.

Enhance Digital Engineering Processes

- Oversee and optimize data quality in AMOS/OASES or similar systems.

- Support digitalization initiatives within CAMU.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

Education & Experience

- University degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Aviation preferred).

- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil aviation maintenance, CAMO/CAMU, or engineering.

- Strong background in aircraft structures.

- English language skills (Level 2 or above).

Technical & Professional Competencies

- Deep knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145.

- Strong analytical and decision‑making skills in structural engineering.

- Ability to work confidently with OEM manuals (SRM, AMM, IPC).

- Proven experience with AMOS/OASES is a strong advantage.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

- Strong leadership mindset - ability to guide, influence, and resolve complex technical situations.

Salary: from 4132 € to 4958 € (brutto)
