POSITION NAME: Aviation Stores Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure accuracy in all our nation-wide stores operations, including receiving, shipping, storage, and handling
  • Lead and manage a small stores team
  • Update, organize and assist in the implementation of ERP system (BI2)
  • Overseeing purchasing/procurement, GSE maintenance/inspections/load tests,
  • Tooling calibration, and consumable expiry
  • Design and execute a long-term strategy for the stores department, ensuring alignment with maintenance operations and overall business goals.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (e.g., inventory turnover, availability, cost efficiency etc.) driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide monthly updates to senior management on stores department performance
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed by all stores team- members, ensuring that any changes are communicated and implemented
  • Promotion of quality and safety consciousness in

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ related aviation supply chain experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience
  • Proven leadership in driving change, optimizing processes, and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Transport Canada regulations
  • Proven ability to manage a department effectively and achieve organizational results
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a RAIC and AVOP.
  • Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs safely and regularly.
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office and Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
