We are looking for a " Budget and Reporting Specialist/Senior Specialist " who will work at the Headquarters of BBN Airlines.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Financial Closing & Control: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, verifying the accuracy and integrity of trial balances and financial data.
- IFRS & Management Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and presentation decks in strict compliance with IFRS and management guidelines.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, consolidate, and track the annual budget and periodic forecasts, ensuring all processes are aligned with corporate timelines.
- Variance & Expense Analysis: Monitor and analyze expense spending against budgets/projections; identify, explain, and report key drivers for variances to keep process owners informed.
- Reporting Automation: Optimize and automate reporting templates, Bridge Sheets, and data workflows using advanced Excel tools (e.g., Power Query, complex formulas) to ensure reporting speed and accuracy.
What It Takes:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in budgeting, financial reporting, or financial accounting (Big 4 audit background is preferred).
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Power Query, complex formulas, and structured reporting templates).
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow), accounting principles, and solid knowledge of IFRS.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the capability to clearly present budget and actual performance variance analyses to senior management.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, a questioning mindset regarding data discrepancies, high attention to detail, and a collaborative team player.
