Job description, responsibilities and duties

 

•Carries out A/C maintenance in accordance with the approved program and maintenance manuals specified by the manufacturer (aircraft, equipment, component), according to the procedures specified in the relevant manufacturer's manuals, with the tools, equipment and materials specified in the manuals, procedures and maintenance instructions.

• Enters records on maintenance records

• Using maintenance data, decides when and what corrective action must be taken before the next flight and the removal of which faults can be postponed

• Participates in the training organized by the employer

• Uses all available information technologies to deepen and update knowledge of technological procedures, aircraft maintenance manuals, maintenance organization procedures, and human factor issues

• Observes all internal instructions and procedures issued by employers and Head of Engineers

Requirements:

Candidates with education suit the position

• Secondary with school-leaving examination

• Education University education (Bachelor's degree)
• University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization
• Technical education

Language skills
• English - Intermediate (B1)

Other:
• Driving licence B
•  2 years of experience minimum

Personality requirements and skills
• B1 or B2/A certificate • Boeing 737 type rating IS MUST
• Communication skills – ability to explain findings, share correct information about next steps, and also be able to take feedback from other team or company members
• Teamwork – ability to effectively cooperate in a team with other engineers and also with other departments as a part of a larger team
• Time management – it requires punctuality to keep flights schedule on-time
• Attention to detail - focus on all areas of a project or task, is required to avoid any error • Flexibility – due to the unpredictable nature of aviation maintenance, often changes are required to complete tasks on time
• Willingness to travel and have an understanding for different cultural customs
• Stress resistance – Engineer often faces multiple stressors (flights schedule, weather conditions, disturbing environment)
• Willingness to learn new skills - as technology advances and aviation regulations change, it is essential to stay up-to-date on industry standards
• Multitasking – ability to perform simultaneously different action at the same time
• Foreign language (English) – all aircraft and company manuals are written in English
• Driving License B
• Knowledge of aircraft – it is essential for this job to have general knowledge about aircraft and its parts
• Knowledge of tools – it is part of the job to use hand / power / special tools
• Computer skills – all troubleshooting, reporting, ordering, etc. is performed online. Also, the ability to upload software and download data from aircraft equipment is required
• Regulatory compliance – it is necessary to understand and follow company and industry standards and regulations

 

Salary: from 4500 € to 5800 € (brutto)
